Treating Pelvic Pain within a Collaborative Model

This is an in depth 4 hour CE training on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of high toned pelvic floor disorders in natal sex female bodies and how to treat them from a biopsychosocial-sexual perspective and in a collaborative health model. This seminar begins with an introduction by Dr. Tina Schermer Sellers and is taught by Kim Castelo, MS, CST-S who, along with Dr. Sellers and Dr. Mia Swartz-Duncan, MD developed a triadic collaborative model, including pelvic floor PT. This holistic model was first presented in 2017 at the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association meeting in Rochester, New York.
