Through Relational, Systemic Training Designed for Real Clinical Practice
Our Philosophy
Guided education, clinical supervision, and mentorship to help you navigate the AASECT certification process with clarity and confidence.
AASECT certification is a meaningful professional milestone for clinicians who want to specialize in intimacy, sexuality, and relational health. The process involves more than completing coursework. It requires thoughtful education, clinical supervision, and the integration of knowledge into real therapeutic practice.
At NWIOI, our programs are designed to guide clinicians through this process with clarity and intention. Through relational, systemic training, small supervision groups, and experienced faculty who are actively practicing in the field, we help clinicians develop the depth of understanding and clinical confidence needed for this work. Whether you are beginning to explore certification or already progressing toward your hours, NWIOI provides a structured yet flexible path forward.

A Higher Standard of Sexuality Training
Sex therapy is complex, relational work that requires more than information. It requires the ability to think systemically, navigate nuance, and remain grounded in the face of vulnerability. At NWIOI, we approach training as professional formation, combining education, supervision, and mentorship to support the development of thoughtful, capable clinicians.

A Higher Standard of Sexuality Training
Become the kind of clinician clients trust with their most vulnerable stories.
Smaller cohorts. Relatable supervision. Meaningful mentorship.
You are not one of hundreds moving anonymously through a program. You are known by name, supported in your growth, and thoughtfully challenged in your clinical development. Our smaller learning environments create space for questions, nuance, and genuine professional formation.
Grounded. Ethical. Forward-thinking.
We prepare you to work with today's evolving relational landscapes while remaining clinically sound and ethically anchored. Our training incorporates systemic perspectives that help clinicians understand how individual experiences, relational dynamics, and broader contexts shape intimacy. The result is training that is progressive, professional, and sustainable for long-term practice.
Depth over volume.
Quality over shortcuts.
Our courses are designed to build true clinical competence, not just fulfill hour requirements. Through systemic training in intimacy and relational care, we emphasize integration, discernment, and applied skill rather than surface-level coverage. You leave with clarity and confidence, not just a certificate.
A More Personal Standard of Training
We offer rigorous, relational training led by experienced clinicians who actively practice what they teach. Our faculty are not removed from the field. They are in the therapy room, navigating the same complex relational realities you are. That real-world engagement shapes every course, discussion, and supervision hour.
Our Promise to Our Students
Your training should do more than fulfill requirements. At NWIOI, we design our programs to be both efficient and transformational, ensuring that every course contributes to your development as a thoughtful, capable clinician. The goal is not just certification, but lasting professional growth.

Hear What Clinicians are Saying about NWIOI
"The process of becoming AASECT certified is made straight-forward and accessible,
and if certification isn't the end goal then therapists still learn a great deal about sexuality & intimacy that they can begin immediately to bring it effectively into their work with clients. Though you would never guess this from the caliber of the experience you receive, the cost of certification through NWIOI is vastly less than costly similar programs"
